Liu Gaoming
Liu Gaoming was born in Shicheng, Jiangxi Province in China in 1972. He studied the Oil Painting and Photography in Gannan Educational University in 1992.In 1997 he commenced his career as a designer. In 2001 he set up his own design company,"the Brothers", becoming the art director his own company. "Pai Gu", his first documentary, was made in 2005.

This film follows Pai Gu (nicknamed Chop), a guy from Jiangxi Province who makes a living selling pirated DVDs in Shenzhen. Ironically, he only sells art films.
