Fan Jian

Fan Jian

Fan Jian was born in 1977. He received a BFA from the directing department of Beijing Film Academy. In 2002 he began working for China Central Television (CCTV) and began his documentary career. Until now, he has made more than 20 documentaries for CCTV, including Grapes of Wrath, which won the Chinese Documentary Prize. His other independent documentaries are Dancing In The City and Electioneering and SARS Reflection.
