Synopsis:
In the villages and towns in Henan, dogfighting is in the fashion. The people entertain themselves with this game. Dogs, the best friends of men, become the tools of excitement here. It is men who define their value of existence. The long takes relentlessly glued to the two bleeding animals fighting are exciting, gory, gruesome and provocative depending on the moods and temperaments of different audiences. What we feel reveals ourselves more than the video maker.

Zhang Zhanqing, born in 1971.Graduated in Beijing Film Academy in 1996,worked for five years in CCTV as journalist, director and cameraman, established Ares Documentary Studio in 2000. His first independent work Where City and Country Meet which was finished in 2001 were selected in IDFA,2001 and Cinéma du Réel,2002;In 2003,he finished a short They are All Our Dogs,which was selected in Asian New Force,IFVA,2005(Hongkong). For Every Minute That I Live ,I Enjoy the 60 Seconds is his latest work.
